Mind Real Estate

There is nothing as powerful as a made up mind.  Your actions are dependent on your thoughts and beliefs.  Often times, we accumulate social, cultural, and economic influences that takes up residence in our mind.  Although some influences may be helpful, every now and then we must reevaluate what we are willing to keep, let go, and not let in.

Think of the your mind as a precious real estate.  You can’t over populate the real estate with unfocused and meaningless thoughts because it will decrease the value and heavily pollute your property. To be successful, we must guard our mind and let only the positive, happy, and appreciate thoughts reside on the prime real estate.   Then let ideas of efficiency, logic, and lessons learned take up the remainder.

There is no place for negative thoughts.  I repeat, there is no place for negative thoughts.  If by chance a transient negative thought should come by, then take it  to the dump and immediately put it into the crucible…to take out the impurities and become stronger by finding a lessons learned.

We must understand that the real estate of the mind is a limited resource.  Therefore, what we choose to do with it…will either make us one step closer to achieving our dreams or being lost in the darkness of the abyss.
