Accept and Move Forward

Our habits is one of the things that defines who we are and what we will accomplish.  Like a two edge sword, our habits will either push us towards our dreams or pull us into the abyss of uncertainty.

Trials, tribulations, detours and setbacks are a part of life.  It’s how we handle them that separates the forward2.jpgsuccessful from the mediocre.  Once we recognize the issue and accept that “it” happened, then we must be proactive to either find a solution or let it go and move forward.

By dwelling on the troubles of the past, we waste our limited resource of time and lose sight of the wonderful possibilities that we have yet to experience.  By building on the habit of “positive and appreciative thinking,” we understand things happen, some things can not changed and, most importantly, we set the stage for our success.

Reflections:

  • Doing what you are doing now or what you did in the last 5 years, will it take you where you want to be in the next 5 years?
  • What is holding you back from achieving your dreams?
  • What habits are you exchanging for your dreams?
  • When is it time for you?
